Q: I'm having problems getting the peel off masque to gel correctly. Do you have any suggestions for mixing?
1. Be sure to precisely follow the dosage measurements on the instructions for each product.
2. Use a thermometer to determine the exact temperature of the water. Each type of masque has its own required temperature. For example, the new Argiwrap Body Mask needs water at 140° F while other alginate masques call for the water to be 68° F.
Mixing alginate powder is a technique like any other, demanding practice for perfect results. After a just a couple of tries, you'll begin to get a better grasp of the method.
